Software for businesses that need it to just work.
I'm a software developer in Stockport, building business tools, CRMs and complex sites for businesses across Stockport and Manchester. I use AI to get you there faster — not cheaper, not cut corners. And if you'd rather build the next one yourselves, I'll teach your team how.
Hi, I'm William. I build software in Stockport.
I write software, mostly the kind that does one job well — a calculator, a quote tool, a CRM, a small app that earns its place on a landing page. I use AI throughout to get to a working version faster, then check it the old-fashioned way: reviewed, tested, documented and yours. When a team wants to build its own, I teach them the same workflow.
Based in Stockport, and I'd rather meet you than email you: happy to come to you anywhere across Stockport, Manchester and Cheshire. Remote work anywhere in the UK, too.

Faster with AI. Not cheaper, not careless.
AI is how I get you to a working version sooner. It isn't a shortcut, and it isn't a discount: the time it saves goes into getting the thing right.
- 01
Faster
AI drafts the scaffolding, the boilerplate and the first version, so you see something working in days rather than weeks — and can change your mind while it's still cheap to.
- 02
Still checked by hand
I make the architecture calls, read every line, write and run the tests and check the security. Nothing ships that I haven't understood. You own the code, documented, with no lock-in.
- 03
Yours to learn
Want your team to build the next one? I'll teach them the same workflow — how to prompt, review, test and ship safely — alongside a build or as standalone training.

What I build.
Nine things for businesses in Stockport, Manchester and beyond. Most of them are one thing, done properly.
- 01
Business tools — get in touch about this
Solar savings calculators, pricing tools, quote generators — the small app that turns a conversation into a number.
- 02
Marketing tools — get in touch about this
Interactive calculators, generators, and one-off tools built for a campaign, not a codebase.
- 03
Bespoke CRM & ERP — get in touch about this
Simple or complex, with AI integrations where they actually earn their place — not bolted on for the sake of it.
- 04
Work & ops tools — get in touch about this
Data collection, internal comms, training and knowledge tools — the app your team actually uses daily.
- 05
Sales enablement — get in touch about this
Competitor intelligence databases, internal knowledge tools, sales collateral generators.
- 06
Product showcase & AR — get in touch about this
See-it-in-your-space visualizers that put your product into the world of the user, not just a photo of it.
- 07
Reporting automation — get in touch about this
The manual weekly report someone builds by hand, turned into a button.
- 08
AI advisory — get in touch about this
Where AI actually saves you time, where it doesn't, and what to build instead.
- 09
Team training — get in touch about this
Learn the AI-assisted workflow I use — prompting, reviewing, testing, shipping safely — so your team can build its own tools.
How a project goes.
From a free call to a working tool in weeks. Four things that stay true on every job, whatever size it turns out to be.
- 15 minutes
Free scoping call
Fifteen minutes to work out if this is worth building at all. Sometimes the honest answer is a spreadsheet, and I'll say so.
- Agreed upfront
Pricing that fits the work
Fixed, hourly, or daily — whichever suits the job, agreed before anything starts. No surprise invoices.
- No handoffs
One person, start to finish
No account managers, no handoffs — you talk to the person building it, every time. In person, if you're local.
- 1–2 weeks
Fast turnaround
Most tools ship in one to two weeks, not quarters. AI does the heavy lifting; I do the checking.
Selected work.
Pip is live and in use. The others show the kind of tool I build — examples, not client case studies — and real projects replace them as they ship.
Questions people ask.
Mostly about AI, speed and who owns what. Anything else, ask me on the scoping call.
Do you use AI to write the code?
Yes — as a tool, not a replacement. AI drafts, scaffolds and speeds up the repetitive parts. I decide the architecture, review every line, write and run the tests, and check the security. Nothing ships that I haven't read and understood.
Does using AI make it cheaper?
Not necessarily, and that isn't the point. It makes it faster: you get to a working version sooner, see it earlier and change direction while it's still cheap to. The time saved goes into getting it right, not into cutting corners.
How fast is fast?
Most focused tools ship in one to two weeks rather than quarters. Bigger systems take longer, and I'll tell you honestly how long after a free 15-minute scoping call.
Can you teach my team to build tools themselves?
Yes. The same AI-assisted workflow I use can be taught — how to prompt, review, test and ship safely. That can be pairing sessions alongside a build, or standalone training for your team.
Who owns the code?
You do. It's documented and handed over, so you're not locked into me or into a subscription.
Where are you based? Will you come to us?
I'm in Stockport and happy to meet in person across Stockport, Manchester and Cheshire. I also work remotely with clients anywhere in the UK.
How do you price work?
Fixed price, hourly or a daily rate — whichever suits the job, agreed upfront, with no surprise invoices. The free scoping call is where we work out which one fits.
